Shameless Q&A

Q: How did you guys meet?

A: Our wives knew each other, but we were not friends until we started doing the show. We’re literally getting to know each other in front of the audience. We’re very different kinds of guys, but we both exhibit the shameless quality that unites us.

Q: How did you come up with the name Shameless Chefs?

A: Both of us have been labeled shameless throughout most of our lives. During the filming of one of our earlier episodes, we said it out loud. We liked it immediately and have embraced the tag ever since. At least we’re honest about it….mostly.

Q: Where do the Shameless Chefs get their recipes?

A: Recipes? We’re supposed to have recipes?

Q: Do you guys even know how to cook?

A: Well, it depends on what you mean by cook. Shameless John has a long family history of restaurant cooking and throws a mean Sunday night dinner for 20 of his closest friends and family. Shameless Dave…..did we mention that Shameless John is well known for his back yard BBQ and pool parties? To give proper credit, Shameless Dave is beloved by his tailgate buddies for serving great grill items and side dishes to the inebriated football fans. No one who is sober has ever vouched for his ability to cook.

Q: How did you shameless chefs come up with the concept for the show?

A: Shameless John had a dream for a show. After finding out that this show would be illegal in forty nine states, fortunately he had another dream. This kernel of culinary inspiration was the seedling for the show. After Shameless Dave was brought on-board, the show headed downhill and has become the shameless excuse for a cooking show that you enjoy today. At least we hope you enjoy the show. Just pretend like our families do.
